You need: Absher and Najiz accounts, passport and iqama.
Steps
- Iqama: check the expiry date in Absher. An exit re-entry visa cannot go beyond it.
- Exit re-entry visa: make sure it is issued and covers your whole trip. Check the dates in Absher.
- Passport: at least 90 days of validity is needed to issue an exit re-entry visa. Also check the entry rules of the country you are flying to.
- Traffic fines: pay them first. Unpaid fines block exit re-entry and final exit.
- Court cases: check Najiz for any case or enforcement request in your name. An open case can lead to a travel ban.
- Domestic flights: carry your original iqama or passport.
- Hajj season: a flight to Jeddah or Madinah does not give you permission to enter Makkah. During the restriction period you need a Makkah entry permit unless your iqama was issued in Makkah. See the Makkah entry permit guide.
- On the day: check your flight in the airline app, check in online if you can, and confirm your terminal.
- Pack by the rules: medicines with SFDA clearance if needed, power banks in your cabin bag, and nothing you did not pack yourself.
Important: Flights can change at short notice, including for safety or security reasons. Confirm your flight with the airline before you leave home, and follow official announcements from GACA and the airport.
