Online behaviour is covered by the Anti-Cyber Crime Law.
General information, not advice. This page summarises publicly available rules in plain language. It is not legal advice or a recommendation to take any action. Procedures, fees and fines change without notice and can differ by case. The official portal below is the only authoritative source.
Steps
- Do not post photos or videos of people, accidents or crime scenes without permission.
- Do not insult or defame anyone online, including in WhatsApp groups. Screenshots are used as evidence.
- Do not share fake news or rumours about public matters.
- Do not forward content that mocks religion, the state or public morals.
